  Position Overview: SALES CONSULTANT

Competition Window Coverings Ltd has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, energetic and talented window coverings sales consultant.

We are looking to fill positions for an individual who has proven sales success the industry, as well as a strong sense of style, and passion for design. We are seeking an individual who can combine their creative side with sales talent to produce the look to transform a customer’s house into a home.

Sales Techniques:

• General Industry Product Knowledge
• The ability to visualize a finished project
• The ability to work within a customer’s budget, giving them the look the are seeking

Sales Experience

• Have strong experiences in residential sales
• Self-Motivated, goal orientated and a desire to excel in a competitive and challenging environment
• Have the ability represent the company in a professional manner
• The skills to build a strong client base to generate leads to future customers
• The desire to build and grow your own business
• Must have the ability to use basic computing skills, including Word, Email usage and Internet searching techniques

Service and Relationship Management

• Applicants will need to be able to overcome obstacles and provide outstanding customer service
• Show exceptional professional standards in appearance and communication skills
• Must possess the understanding and management of the sales process, from prospecting to closing and after-sale follow ups
• Have strong organizational skills to be able to contact sales leads, schedule appointments and complete customer orders in a timely fashion

Essential Functions

• Measuring skills related to the window covering industry
• A valid B.C driver’s license
