Changes, Cancellations and Refunds

Because all products are custom made it is important that you are sure of your purchase decisions at time of checkout. Order placement / production typically starts the day after you place your order. Changes, cancellations and refunds are only accepted within 24 hours from the time your order is placed.

Installation

All items sold by Competition Blinds and Closets must be installed in accordance with the supplied installation instructions. If installation instructions were not supplied contact customer service and instructions will be supplied.

Payment and Fees

We accept visa, mastercard and american express. All purchases are displayed in Canadian funds. In the rare case that an item is incorrectly priced we reserve the right to correct the price. It is then the customers decision to either pay the difference in price or cancel the order.

What we do with the information we collect?

We collect personal information such as names, addresses, zip codes and email addresses. This information is only used to better the communication between us and the customer. We do not share or sell any of the information we collect to third parties.

We collect information such as time spend on the site pages. This information us used to better serve customers with information. Tracking cookies do not collect any personal information.

Competition Blinds and Closets is committed to protecting all personal information collected. All personal information is kept secure and private. All online payments are encrypted and secure with site security.

Shipping

Shipping is FREE to all parts of CANADA.

Upon receiving your order inspect it to ensure all contents have been received. Different types of blinds and shades can arrive in separate shipments. For example if you ordered roller shades and horizontal blinds, all the rollers will ship in one shipment and the horizontals in another.

Shipping carriers in most cases will make one attempt to deliver items, then it is the responsibility of the customer to make arrangements for another delivery or to pick up at the nearest carriers facility.

 


 

Any damage caused by the transport company is not the responsibility of Competition Blinds and Closets and their manufacturing partners. Claims must be made to the transport company. The manufacturer certifies that all goods shipped are packed to maximum standards acceptable to most transport companies.

If an order arrives damaged please notify Competition Blinds and Closets so that products can be remade if need be or parts can be ordered.

 


 

Competition Blinds and Closets and their partners shall not be liable for transportation charges, Iabour or installation charges, nor for damage in transit due to handling or other conditions outside the company’s control such as delays in shipping from the transport company.

Warranty

All products are under a limited lifetime warranty from date of purchase. This warranty covers and is inclusive against any defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser of the products. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by or resulting from misuse, abuse, alterations or excessive discolouration due to sunlight or passage of time, humidity, exposure to salty air, change in atmospheric conditions or corrosive materials. This warranty also does not apply to conditions caused by normal wear and tear upon the actual product.

If a product requires warranty work Competition Blinds & Closets and the manufacture will work with the customer to ensure the quickest and most efficient way possible to either repair or replace the item. In some cases products are required to be sent to a repair facility.
