Changes or cancellations can only be made within the first 12 hours after placing an order, or as long as your order has not gone into production.

Since all products are custom made your credit card is charged prior to the order being places into production. This process usually is done within the first 24 hours of placing the order.

No, Competition Window Coverings never has and never will share any of their customers information with anyone. All information collected is kept completely confidential and used to better communication and service with you.

We carry the following brand name products: Canadian Blind Manufacturing Ltd, Habitat Blinds and Shadings, Titan, Jacksons, Hunter Douglas and Springs Fashions.

Inside mount is when the blind, shade, or shutter fits inside the window opening. Mounting a blind inside gives the product a cleaner look. An outside mount is used when there is not enough window sill depth to mount the product properly inside the opening. Sliding glass doors and most wooden cased shallow windows are the most popular to outside mounted blinds.

All horizontal blinds or PVC products can be cleaned using mild soapy water, regular water or a duster which can be purchased from Competition Window Coverings Ltd.

Fabric material products can carefully be cleaned using a household vacuum with a brush attachment. Do not use any type of bleach product or spot cleaners. To properly spot clean use a soft sponge lightly with a mild detergent.

If one of your blinds breaks, don’t worry just call the number located at the top of this page and the staff at Competition Window Coverings Ltd will be happy to assist you in any way possible. If you can have the job number located at the top of your pink copy of the sales agreement ready to help us locate your information.

Unfortunately due to the fact that all products are custom made. You cannot return your blinds. If you encounter a problem with your product please contact Competition Window Coverings Ltd. and they will be glad to assist you in any way possible.

Most products from the time you purchase to the time it's installed takes about 2 – 3 weeks.

The routeless option is where the regular routeholes located in the middle of the slat where the cord runs through are moved towards the back of the slat. This results in the blinds closing tighter, eliminating unwanted light.

The easy lift option is for blinds that may be too heavy to lift. Adding this reduces the lifting required by approximately 50%.
